Title 1

Irish Elementary is a school-wide Title I school.  According to the U.S. Department of Education the purpose of a school acquiring Title I status is to ensure that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach, at a minimum, proficiency on challenging state academic achievement standards and state academic assessments.

Because of our Title 1 status, Irish receives federal funding to ensure parent involvement and adequate growth for all students in math and literacy.  To view our Title 1 parent involvement plan, click here.

Our Title 1 coordinator is Rebecca Schkade.  If you should have questions please email her at rebeccas@psdschools.org.
